On the corner of two pretty pedestrian streets and just a few steps from the famous Place aux Herbes, the house can be rented in its entirety in all seasons. It features 3 double bedrooms with en-suite bathrooms, a spacious living room with fully-equipped kitchen on one level with the garden, heated swimming pool* and outdoor dining area.
Freshly renovated, this typically Uzétian 17th-century townhouse has been given a new lease of life thanks to its meticulous styling, while retaining its original character. It combines authentic stonework, beams and tiled floors with contemporary comforts in a relaxed, elegant style. The Mediterranean-style decor lends a relaxing atmosphere and the charm typical of southern houses.
Behind its stone walls lies a small, secluded garden with heated swimming pool*, where you can enjoy the pleasures of a vacation with family or friends. You'll enjoy a lunch area in the shade of a plane mulberry tree, a solarium next to the pool and two sundecks for chilling out.
A serene place where life is lived inside-outside to the sound of cicadas.
Uzès is almost entirely pedestrianized and everything is within walking distance of the house: the Place aux Herbes market (one of the finest in France), shops, restaurants, monuments and the Eure Valley.
And for those who want to tele-work from a sunny spot, we've got you covered!
Thanks to its thick stone walls, the house stays cool in summer, although the suite Amoretti is air conditioned and each room is equipped with a fan. It's cosy in winter thanks to underfloor heating.
We recommend the house for 4 adults and 2 children because the Amoretti suite communicates with the Panisse room. (twin rooms)
We do not recommend the house for young children due to the unsafe stone stairs and swimming pool.
* The swimming pool is heated when the outside temperature is suitable for swimming (min 24°°), generally from May to September. This period can be extended if conditions are good.
The temperature of the water can vary between 24°c and 28°c depending on external conditions.
For health reasons it cannot be heated above 28°c.
